Chapter 2:
What is your product?
Perceived value
a. How people set their perceptions
b. Increasing perceived values - By Marketing
c. Signposts
Sage software ,
-
Reassurance
-
Familiarity
-
Support
(understand exactly what their product is)
(understand exactly what their product is)
Perceived > Objective :
Perceived < Objective :
(Reference Point),
Competitors
-
(Taste/Tribe)
-
How much money they have
-
Knowledge
-
Tips: 化整為「零」 fives and nines ($1.99, $1995)
Increase its objective value
-
Give your product a personality
-
Link your product to yourself (Expert)
-
Make people love your product
-
Provide a better service
-
Provide reassurance
-
-
Remind people of how much work you’ve put into your product
-
Appeal to people’s sense of fairness
-
Sell more than just the physical product
-
Differentiating your product
c. Signposts
Killer way: Blue Ocean
-- Brian Hu
How to utilize the skills provided by this chapter to increase the perceived value of your friends's product?
