Not all sunshine and rainbows...

Yes, Popcorn is Awesome. However,

  • "New" barely out of beta
  • Limited by ability of your browser & internet speeds
  • No offline editing or viewing
  • Not terribly mobile friendly

Media Overload?

  • Multiple Video and Audio clips are possible
  • My experience = 3 - 4 good sized clips per presentation (YMMV) before it starts getting slow
  • Save Often
  • Getting Slow/bogged down? Shut down Firefox, restart
  • Try not to overlap your audio and video files

Considerations

For your Project:
  • Think about *how* you want to integrate Popcorn from the planning phase
  • Popcorn remixes are a good way to start a new version of your project
  • Remixing others' projects is a great way to learn the tool
